This story alternates between the past and present day. It’s quite fast paced and easy to read. I think the husband is very tolerant not knowing about his wife’s past and putting up with her going back to her hometown at the drop of a hat. It seems quite selfish but makes me wonder why she’s so keen to go back. I’d be interested to read more.
