There is the feel of a good mystery going on here, but I can’t help but feel it rushes through things a little too quickly. The prologue told me about the girls situation rather than building up the drama of her realisation. As did the second character, who needed to rush home without any preface. I feel like I’d need more depth to the emotions to fully enjoy this.
The cover doesn’t really suggest murder / thriller. Unless the murderer here is Jaws...
