A bit underwhelming for me.

I have read I think a couple of books by Katerina Diamond before and I have quite enjoyed them. This one, however, didn't work for me at all.

I finished it because I was listening to the audiobook but if I had been reading it physically, I think I would have DNF'd it.

The thing that annoyed me the most was Felicity, the narrator and main character. I couldn't stand her, seriously. I found her very selfish, selfcentered, selfobsessed and, in my opinion, a bit silly.

I understood the fact that she wanted to investigate the dissapearance of this girl that had gone missing recently beacuse it somehow reminded her of her friend who also went missing several years back, but I just didn't like how she dealt with it all.

She left her family from one day to the other (Which I did not understand), went to Devon, the place where it all had happened and started to kind of investigate what had happened to this girl, Mandy. And I felt like: It is none of your business! Just step aside and don't think that it is your duty to solve the case. Annoying!

By the time the whole thing came out and got solved, I wasn't interested anymore in the character or the story.

So, although I am very sorry, I can't give this book more than 2/5⭐
