This book was quite fast paced due to the way the chapters are written. I read it in just over two hours.
The chapters alternate between now and then, sixteen years ago. This is a style of writing that I particularly enjoy reading.
"Now" a girl has gone missing in similar circumstances to a disappearance sixteen years ago, is it the original kidnapper or a copycat? The main character, Felicity, has links to the original disappearance and returns to the town to investigate for herself.
I enjoyed the plot, i wanted to know what happened. However there was a twist that to me felt a little unbelievable. The main character lacked a bit of depth to me, and I didn't like her, which for me made it a less enjoyable read.
However if you are looking for a quick, twisty read you can't go wrong with this book.
