I read this book in a day, I could not put it down. It was very well written, the contrast between ‘then’ and ‘now’ was brilliant and considering different timelines can sometimes get confusing this was easy to follow all the way through.
I enjoyed the character development and feel you really get to know them and like them and I’ll be honest I really was not sure where the book was going to go.
You get to a point where you think you know what’s going on and what’s going to happen and then all of a sudden the twist comes and I was not expecting it at all! I’ve read a lot of mystery/thrillers but this twist absolutely threw me which was brilliant. It made me all the more eager to get to the end and see how it finishes.
I would definitely recommend reading this book, it would a perfect holiday read :)
