The beginning really made me want to delve in further as the writing was done so well. Starts off with an older Felicity hearing news from her childhood Town that there has been a disappearance and her odd behaviour surrounding it makes you ask questions from the start. Her need to leave her husband and children and return hundreds of miles to a town she had long forgotten, not taking her family, all for a news bulletin about someone she didn't know is peculiar.
The story is written from Felicity as she is now and interestingly from her friend Jasmine at the time of their teenage years. The different perspective adds to the intrigue and makes you second guess what you think you know about the story.
