The very first impression of this book is given by the extremely attractive cover. It conveys an impression of things hidden and secrets to be found around a house. Having moved onto the synopsis, I feel that this is a book of discovery, of revelations being made throughout the book until a climax is reached. I also get the impression that the book is full of mystery and suspense and also the tensions between a family. Definitely one for me!
