Dark and mysterious, this book already has me intrigued from the blurb alone. References to secret spaces and unidentified objects both have me guessing and invested enough to read more, and I love the suggestion of tension between Maud and Nell. The first impression has me even more hooked, as it is already building an atmosphere and a sense of mystery. I also really like the front cover. I would definately like to read more of this book.
