I like the front cover, it makes a change from the usual black and yellow book covers which you see more of these days. What a great start setting the scene to a gothic mystery. The first read is dramatically written and captures the reader easily with its chilling setting. I think there will be many twists and turns within the story with all the characters seeming to hide their own secrets, so hoping for an intriguing read. I think Maude is going to be a tough and colourful character in this story. It gives lots of hints of eeriness and and chills and it would be great opportunity to see if it a contemporary style of story or just a great thriller.
