Very intriguing first couple of chapters. I want to know more about Maude, Nell and Chris’s relationship and how they came to be in the cottage. What the etching on the beam in the attic means. What Maude wants to do on the internet and why she was so desperate to have her phone back straight away after Nell borrowed it.
