Laying the groundwork for a ghostly tale...
The opening chapters of this book definitely lay the groundwork for a ghostly tale - remote location, flickering lights, a feeling of unease...
However, it feels like it is possibly a slow burner, as even though the scene is set in the prologue - nothing really happens in the first two chapters. I'd still read on though.
I really like the cover, I love the colour combination.
