The author builds suspense well in the early chapters. Nothing like some family history, a family working their way through new beginnings and some dodgy fuses to spark intrigue.
The intro has you left wanting more and with plenty of questions. Layer on top grappling with the relationship between the characters but also the house itself... I'm hooked
