Wow the first couple of chapters really draw you in. They are really atmospheric and when she talks about the smells in the house it's as if you can smell them too. I'm intrigued to see what adam is hiding as I think he is and what Maude gets up to and if nell survives the holiday. It sounds just like my kind of book.
