The prologue was filled with gripping hooks through shirt sentences and phrasing which created tension making us as readers feel as though the character was, by using her thoughts as well we feel as though we are with the character and making us question everything even if we don't know what is happening keeps engament. When chapter one begins we are constantly questioning who does what and what happens to each character as it almost starts again. Longer phrases create peace but we are always questioning what will happen and how each character links to the he/she in the prologue. When suspicion from one of the characters arises the author uses short snetence phrasing again creating vivid images from small description making us drat from one thing to another like the characters mind is. As well as this dialogue shows characters personality right from the start create small connections that grow as you read on. I would say maybe adding small parts of the prolog in double meaning ways to the starting chapters may create our own suspicions right from the start and keep us hooked as the prologue is so strong.
