This book I loved it so much as It had kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through the book wondering if they were going to figure it all the secrets of the house and the shoe and if they can figure out the secrets of nells home town and will she remember someone from her past and can she mend her dysfunctional family and why would anyone want to go into a dying land and no one will mess with it but of course the medinging and rebellious twelve-year-old will willing to mess with it because she will be repealing or generally curious of what it might and hold. I had given this book three stars as it was confusing and got lost with the plot and trying to work out of the who point of views I'm reading from as it was constantly changing from one character to another and also I will prefer to read short chapters and I found I was losing my concentration on the long chapters and I would recommend this book to anyone who read mystery books or contemporary fiction.
