The hiding place is a great book surrounded by mystery with many twists and turns along the way keeping you flicking those chapters. I devoured this book within a couple of days of receiving it. Mystery books is what got be back into reading however I have since moved onto different genres so to go back to my roots has now encouraged me to want to get back into crime and mystery affiliated books!
Occasionally the writing for me can tend to get a bit slow and bulky at times but it was still worth the read and I would heavily encourage others to do so!!!! I felt that the cover of the book was fitting with different meanings hidden within the design.
I give this book 4/5 stars purely on the basis of the bulkiness that could occur prevented me from giving it 5. This has now become one of my new found favourites though of the year 2021. I’m so glad I read this!
