As I am writing this review it is 2.43am but I just had to find out how this book ended and couldn’t sleep until did.
If you want a book for Halloween feels then this is the one to do it.
Nell, her husband Chris and stepdaughter Maude have gone back to where Nell was bought up for a family reunion. Maude doesn’t get on well at all with Nell and wasn’t going to make life any easier just because they were on holiday especially not when they were in such an old house.
Maude choose the room she wanted, there were strange claw marks on one of the rafters and she found a secret hidden place.
While she was getting intrigued and almost overtaken by her thoughts of the room and the house Nell was struggling and getting worried at every noise then Chris had to sort something at work and has to leave, how would they both get on within this strange house?
