I really enjoyed reading The Hiding Place by Amanda Mason, I wasn't sure before I started as it isn't the usual type of book I read but a few chapters in I was hooked. I finished this book in a weekend as I was desperate to see what happened to Nell, Maude and Chris as well as the other characters. I've now handed the book over to my mum who in sure will be just as hooked as myself when reading the book.
I found the characters in the book easy to relate too as well as the setting of the book. I found this a easy book to read as you didn't have to out too much thought into it but I did find my mind racing ahead to work out who or what was making the noises they could hear it the holiday house and the secrets it revealed. It definatly kept me gripped all the way to the end of the last chapter of the book.
I would definitely buy another book from Amanda Mason after readying this one.
