This book is not necessarily the kind of book I would normally read, but it nevertheless looks to be a gripping and fascinating insight into the experiences of being a high-stakes climber, as well as exploring his motivations. There appears to be a clear juxtaposition of conversation about climbing and every-day storylines, against the much heavier scenes of the climb itself and it definitely looks to be an interesting and different read.
