As I was expecting this was a brilliant book which I adored! I will admit, it took me a very long time to read the entire book. I'm much more used to reading fiction novels so this chunky non-fiction book felt tiresome at times but I had a personal interest in the topic so I'm glad I powered through and read the entire book. I visited Yosemite a few years ago and viewed El Capitan in all its glory. I would never be a mountaineer myself so I can appreciate the hard work and effort these climbers put into their ascents.
This book was packed with fascinating information which was very interesting to learn. I love finding out new bits of information. It isn't a book I would reread or recommend to others unless they had a personal interest.
