I was instantly gripped by this book. I loved how you are thrown straight into the action, and left with so many questions to be answered about what is happening. I am very keen to know more about Ballista. Who is he, who is after him and why?
I enjoyed author's writing style, very descriptive and I also liked the extra gory details of the battle scene!
The cover is fitting and leads you nicely into the beginning of the book with the right kind of expectation.
