I have read Harry Sidebottom before so had some knowledge of his style of storytelling and the excerpt I read fast moving from the start to grab you into the tale and leave you wanting more . I will need to carry on so will end up buying it.
If you like historical fiction and have not tried Harry Sidebottom and especially have a interest in all things Roman you will enjoy him his characters are interesting and seem true to life , the storyline you has fast usually vicious fighting scenes but are interspersed with a good storyline layout taking you back into time with lots of interesting characters and scenery taking you back in time to Roman times with all the wheeling and dodgy dangerous dealing that we associate with that time.
