Firstly the cover is beautiful, eye catching and intriguing, from the blurb I was excited to read this, it sounded full of excitement and twists yet I’m sorry to be writing this but I just really didn’t enjoy this! It would be amazing as a film but as a book it just seemed the same thing was happening over and over again the city watch nearly catch him, attempted robbery, heroism. It is beautifully written but unfortunately it just is not gripping! Im genuinely upset as I was looking forward to this read so much as it’s a genre I would usually enjoy!
The character Ballista seems to be a man that you wouldn’t want to mess with and whom you would want to fight in your corner!
