I always find it difficult to give an opinion on anything to do with the Second World War, and the atrocities which we know about, simply because it’s so hard to read about. This story is no exception - even the beginning chapters are incredibly harrowing with torture and other heartbreaking moments. But I got the impression the story would also be a hopeful and astonishing one of bravery.
