I loved the cover and the title captured my interest. The blurb also gives the background of what could be a fabulous book.
The introduction was explosive and gave me a keen interest in what was going to happen, but the change of pace, to something more like a history book, took more concentration and perseverance: though it did give some interesting and essential information. Then it slipped in and out of the two styles before the excerpt concluded with a bang: horrorstruck, I would have continued reading if I had the chance.
