Wow! What an incredible book this sounds, following a clutch of admirable women who join the resistance and face some harrowing experiences in their determination to stand up for their beliefs. Looks like a tough read, full of resilient and courageous women in the darkest of times and the friendship that flourishes between them all. Reading about the escape and survival of these women and knowing it actually occurred, as opposed to being conjured up by an author, makes it even more powerful.
