This book sounds like exactly my kind of read. The cover immediately makes it clear that the story is historical fiction set in the second world war and the camps. The blurb brings home the fact that this is by and large a true story pieced together by the relative of what sounds like a truly remarkable woman.
The opening chapters set the tone of the book, part narrated by the neice and part told from the perspective of the heroine. The writing style in both forms is good and easily readable, I found myself drawn in from the very start.
This is a book I would very much like to read as a fan of both historical and feminist literature I would very much like to hear more about this unknown hero!
