The title caught my attention and then the striped pajamas caused my eyes to linger for a moment too long. The holocaust is an extremely sensitive topic, and I tend to stay away from reading about it too much. That's because it's bound to be disheartening and I don't seem to cope well with sad books. That being said, I am trying to pick some war stories to read, to educate myself better about them.
