I have read many Second WWII resistance stories and never tire from them or fail to be moved, inspired and grateful to be living with the freedoms of today. I don’t think I breathed reading Chapter 1 and I was drawn further by the photos of Helene and the women in rows. This made the words all the more real and poignant. A great start to what looks like a great read.
