There is always something so powerful about reading a book where you know what you are absorbing is a true story. I find books about war history fascinating as they are always so personal, interlaced with bravery but humour too in the darkest of moments. This first impression is a great read that makes me want to read on. The front cover would make me want to pick up this book and know more
