First of all I want to say even just from the first look and cover of this book it is so important that these amazing true stories are told and Thank you to Gwen Strauss for telling it.
This is a true story of the nine ordinary women who joined the resistance and were tortured and yet kept together through it all showing how strong their friendship and resilience was.
I cannot wait to read this it is no doubt going to be emotional but how amazing a tale to read of such strong women for once. There have been too many tales of strong men throughout war but the women need their story telling just as much if not more.
