Over the past few months/year I have really opened up to the types of books I read. Generally I love a good thriller or crime novel.
However since lockdown and discovering booksta I have started reading a whole host of different novels.
I loved the tattooist of Auschwitz and have since reading this book read a lot of books based around the two world wars.
It intrigues me to see how people coped during such adverse times. I would love to read this book about 9 people who survived such terrible times and lived to tell at least some of the tale.
I think it is really important for people to remember what happened all those years ago and losing sight of what happened may lead to something of this nature happening again and that can not happen.
Learning through reading is my passion and learning about something as important as World War 2 - what more could I ask for?
