I always love books about the war, and seeing it from the perspective of a woman is always welcome. I expected this to be told in the first person as a sort of novel, but I did still find it interesting to read the facts about Helene’s life. No matter how many times I read about concentration camps I always get shocked and feel so distraught. It’s an important story to share and I’m glad the author did it!
