Fast-paced with Atmospheric Settings

The Old Religion is a fast-paced mystery thriller that I liked. With a range of characters and plenty of action, the sample really kept my interest. I liked the use of Lila's POV by having a teen voice in a dark storyline, which personally is a plus for someone who likes to read about teen characters in adult fiction. I had no major issues but that cliffhanger really has got me keen to continue on with the novel!
