This seems like the sort of novel I would usually enjoy. I like fact that there are two different POVs running alongside one another and that they were completely different. I think I would have enjoyed it more if the blurb hadn't given away that the male main character was in witness protection. The first few chapters drop hints that he's hiding from something but knowing he's in witness protection sort of takes away from the suspense.
