I really enjoyed this thriller set in a fictional small village in Cornwall.
Straight from the start there is an air of mystery about the fascinating two main characters Lila and Tom Kilgannon but as the plot develops so too do there respective past lives and it adds very well to the telling of the story.
The plot is well thought out and at no point does it drag it's feet but it moves along at a cracking pace.
There are a couple of shocks along the way and a final twist towards the end which is so good it makes you 'think I should have realised that' but it's the skilfull writing that keeps it well hidden.
I was pleased to see inthe Authors note at the end that Tom Kilgannon will be back- he's too good a character to let go.
