I really like the way the dark and the light colours meet on the cover, that's what initially drew me in. I very much enjoyed the first installment, the history placed within the story was beautifully written. This isn't a genre I would have picked myself but I did find myself gutted when I got to the end. Possibly the start of a new found love of mine. The story so far is very easy to follow but still contains a lot of detail and is easy to envision. Very intrigued to see where the story goes!
