When we won the battle of Waterloo, British was to become on if the biggest superpowers the world has ever known, except it was a lot of money and power held in a couple of hands. The rest of the country barely got by. It was dark and dangerous times full of disease and treachery.
I haven't read any of the other books in the series and as the third in the trilogy it's maybe why I am not as excited to read this as I maybe others of this genre, which I love. Cover wise you can tell its of the historical fiction genre because they do the sane thing they do for all historical fiction covers which us underwhelming.
