I enjoyed the first book in this series but I can't say that the last two books have had much appeal. I enjoy historical fiction with a focus on medicine but the synopsis for this book makes it sound more like spy fiction than historical medical fiction. I wasn't enticed by the extract and I'm not keen on the fact that the story is set in two different countries. Therefore, I think I will give this book a miss.
