Well-written but doesn't hold enough appeal for me.
Two factors are putting me off entering into the draw for a copy of this book ... the fact that it's the third in a series and I haven't read the earlier two, as well as its Elizabethan England setting, because I seem to have read a number of novels recently which were set in that period!
However, from reading the opening pages of this story it's clear that it's well-written and, as other First Impressions make it clear that the author has a hugely enthusiastic fan-base, I'll leave the field clearer for them to win a copy!
