this is the best book i have read this year. the writing is brilliant, the story is great and the descriptions for the time are excellent. i have been a fan of C J Samson and until now have not found an author to touch him--until now. S W Perry,s writing is of such quality. the descriptions of the times make you feel you are there sharing the smells, the struggles and the life of Elizabethan London in 1593.
