I really enjoyed this book. Having not read the previous two books in the series I wasn't sure if I would understand the story.
From my first impression I was intrigued to know more but was also concerned it wasn't going to be 'my thing', however, the author has written the book in such a way that it also works as a stand alone book and kept me intrigued throughout.
It has been written in a way that fits with the era in which it is set.
This was a difficult book for me to get into at first, but this soon changed and i struggled to put it down.
The characters were written well and I really enjoyed the interactions between Nicholas and Bianca throughout their relationship. This is a book that I would definitely recommend.
