I was excited when this new S.W. Perry book was released. If you don't know, then this is the third book in a series of novels called the Jackdaw Mysteries. In 'The Saracen's Mark' we join again our protagonist, the physician Nicholas Shelby in another thriller/mystery adventure with his sidekick, and tavern owner Bianca Merton. We've been seeing their relationship develop over the three novels, so for a richer reading experience, I'd recommend them in order. Saying that, this works fine as a stand-alone for the plot and action.
What I enjoyed about this book was we get to travel overseas to the wonderful Morocco.
I think it's my favourite of the three for the plot and the character developments.
