Found this hard to get into, I think maybe it was because the story kept referring back to things that had gone on in the characters pasts and I am aware there are others in the series so maybe that was why this was done.
The story sounded really good but for me I don’t think there was that much overall plot especially for the length of the novel.
There seemed to be lots of little nuances and side stories I found and
I think that detracted somewhat from the main story involving Nicholas Shelby and Bianca Merton.
I think this would appeal to fans of the series and maybe I was missing a little background knowledge of the preceding stories.
Overall though just not for me and not to my taste personally.
