I enjoyed this book very much. Although it is part of a series, that I haven’t read it ultimately did not spoil my enjoyment of this novel. I do however think if I had read the series I may have understood the background in greater depth.
It was a nice easy read with plenty of twists, turns and drama to keep you interested.
Nicholas Shelby and his secret missions is definitely something I would enjoy to read more of.
Shelby and his sidekick Bianca are great characters, well thought out and the description really makes you think you know them.
Overall I would say this is a great enjoyable book and would even recommend to people who may not usually choose historical fiction.
