At first impression, looks like a book aimed at young adults, look forward to read it and see if suitable for my teenage daughter,curious to read previous books in serious but not sure of character name Bianca as seems tomodern in context of the setting and makes me cautious and wary of how well researched and accurate the historical facts will be. Unfortunately, this prevents me from leaping into this book asI wouldwant to be able to believe the story and empathise withthe chracters. However,the contrasting locations and the colours and smells they will conjure up intrigues me. If the name Bianca ws something more traditionally Elizabethan or middle eastern,I may not have had these thoughts and looked forward to discovering a new adventure instead!
