I have not read any C.S.Quinn books before so was keen to see the style. I was drawn in to the story immediately. Although a blood thirsty start, that aspect was not dwelt on and the story was fast moving. Set in France and England at the time of the French Revolution the relationship between Attica Morgan and Jemmy Avery is interesting and well written. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this tale.
