The title "The Scarlet Code" is attractive and tempted me to read and explore the chapters. The first impression of the book cover gives a very ancient and English feeling like "Macbeth" kind of content where a secret plan is hiding behind the scenes.
The atmosphere is not too intense at the few chapters but after reading chapter 5 makes me like it more and eager to give it a second chance to continue and explore more on the content and plot.
Pity on Fleur being an innocent lady who is in the victim and the bravery of Mademoiselle Morgan in the story. Indeed this is a book worth exploring !
