I really enjoyed the first book dealing with the dangerous Attica and I was thrilled to see there was a follow up. This one starts in a similar fashion to the last with a daring raid to rescue someone, in this case a kidnapped duchess, which ends with the launching of a fire ship. Although, this time, Jemmy is on hand from the get go.
The first impression certainly whetted my appetite and I will admit I only read the first 2 chapters of it as I already knew I was going to be ordering this one.
