I was thrilled to be delving into a historically based novel this week, especially due to history being such an interesting subject to me. It was specifically fascinating to be reading about a period of history that I am not very familiar with as not only has Quinn made it such a good story, but I am also learning about this time period along the way.
Quinn managed to pique my imagination, with an awe-inspiring writing style, which I’m sure has succeeded with the imaginations of many others. Can't wait to read the rest of this book, and then previous books written by Quinn to further explore my favourite book genre!
